Australia Rollers open with convincing win over South Korea

The Nations Cup Cologne men’s competition opened with a convincing win for the Australian Rollers, 74-51 , over South Korea.

Current World Champions the Australian Rollers is going strong on a 10 – 0 unanswered run, a margin that was too much for South Korea to pull back in the opening quarter, as it finished 19 – 7.

In a physical second quarter, South Korea matched the Australians and brought the game back to 5 points just three minutes into the period. Australia again put the pressure back on a 14-point lead at the halftime break. 40-26.

Both teams went on to win both quarters 19-16 and 15-9.

Dong Hyeon Gim, top-Scored for South Korean with 21 points, whilst the scoring which spread across the team for Australia, with everyone bar Sam White getting points on the board.
